Tina Wyffels, P.E., was recently named President of structural and civil engineering firm BKBM, located in Minneapolis. Wyffels has been with the company — which works in education, healthcare and public spaces — for more than 25 years, beginning as a design engineer and progressing to a role on the firm’s Board of Directors. According to a statement by the firm, Wyffels prides herself on projects that enhance the community, steering BKBM with a forward-looking focus on sustainability and the evolving AEC landscape. She also helped the company transition into a fully employee-owned firm. She received her Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Structural Engineering from the University of Minnesota as well as a Master of Business Administration from University of St. Thomas’ Opus College of Business.
