Space-Ray has added four new higher-capacity units to its LTS Series infrared gas tube heaters. Available in both natural and propane gas, they range in capacity from 40,000 BTU/hr to 250,000 BTU/hr. When using tube heaters, annual fuel savings can range from 50 to 70 percent compared to forced-air heating, according to the company.
The LTS Series can be used in a straight, L-shape, U-shape or Z-shape configuration and their 90-degree elbows and corner reflections allow mounting near walls, doors or corners.
Des Champs Technologies introduces the Wringer 2000 natatorium air-conditioner and dehumidifier, which uses dry air outside air to control the indoor environment. This indoor-pool environmental control system uses air-to-air energy recovery to reduce supplemental heating and cooling requirements, and provides pre-cooling and re-heating of supply air during periods requiring mechanical dehumidification.
