Early Childhood and Administrative Education Center Lands More Awards
CHICAGO-Cannon Design announced that the Evanston/Skokie School District 65 Early Childhood and Administrative Education Center has been honored with two additional awards: the Masonry Marketing Council, Quality Masonry Design and Execution Award 2004, and the Environmental Design & Construction, Excellence in Design Awards, Honorable Mention 2004.
These awards add to the project’s previous awards of the Illinois Indiana Masonry Council Honors – Excellence in Masonry Design, Bronze Award in 2003 and the Chicago Athenaeum Museum of Architecture & Design – American Architecture Award in 2001.
The 75,000-square-foot Joseph E. Hill Education Center located in Evanston, Ill., represents a holistic approach to education through consolidation of multiple functions, including preschool, pre-primary special education, adult education and district administration.
