Food Service Provider Renovates Dining Area
NEW YORK-Fordham University’s dining facility hadn’t been renovated in years and school officials wanted to shake things up and offer students restaurant-quality dining at the Bronx campus. So they turned to the school’s food service provider, Sodexho USA, for a makeover. The result: a complete transformation of the dining area through the creation of eight distinctly different food stations that offer students a wide variety of dining choices.
At the bakery station, students can find fresh-baked goods, while the grilling and deli platforms give offer made-to-order items, such as burgers and sandwiches. The international and Gifts from the Garden (vegan) stations offer options for students with specific dietary needs or who want some variety. The remaining platforms, pizza and Euro, offer plated hot entrees and a salad bar.
