U.S. Green Building Council Reports on PVC

WASHINGTON, D.C.-The Technical and Scientific Advisory Committee of the U.S. Green Building Council has released a draft of its report on PVC. The committee has determined that PVC-based materials are no worse than their alternatives in terms of environmental and health impacts. To determine environmental and population-wide health impacts, the comparison was performed using life-cycle analysis tools such as SimaPro.
