ROTARY HAMMER DRILL

The new Hilti TE 6-A Li Rotary Hammer Drill is a cordless drill with 36-volt power and a lithium-ion battery.

Available from Hilti USA, the tool is designed for concrete, stone, masonry, wood, plastic and steel applications, and can be used for overhead and above-chest-level drilling.

The product’s lithium-ion battery weighs 50 percent less than nickel cadmium batteries and can charge up to 75 percent capacity in 20 minutes, according to the manufacturer. Each battery comes with an LED charge indicator to show how much power is left.

The tool measures 13 inches x 3.5 inches x 8.5 inches and weighs 8.4 pounds with the battery installed.
