Roof Snow Guards

EcoStar introduces a full line of pad and pipe-style snow guards that are engineered to meet a variety of snow loads.

The guards are Kynar-coated aluminum and color-matched to each of EcoStar’s nine tile shades. They measure 9 inches long by 2-1/2 inches wide and feature a wide face, helping to prevent damage caused by avalanching snow and ice.

Specifically designed for steep-slope roofing systems, the guards create friction that is evenly distributed over an entire roof surface. As rooftop snow melts, the guards break it into small pieces to prevent damage to objects on the ground below.

The guards are installed with the same siliconized bronze roofing nails as EcoStar tiles. The nails are installed through two pre-drilled holes in the snow guard and are fastened directly into the roof deck.
