Portable Scale

The Deckhand one-person portable floor scale for shipping and receiving, bulk loading and piece counting, is available from Alliance Scale Inc. It features a battery- operated weight indicator, two wheels, a folding ramp, a column with hand grips and an optional ramp for wheeling containers on and off its platform.

The digital weight indicator has a five-digit, 1-inch high LCD display with button selectable functions and includes an RS-232 output. The scale is available in 500-, 1,000- and 2,000-pound capacities with a 31-inch-wide x 41-inch-long x 4.5-inch-high platform made from steel or stainless steel and has a nonskid treaded top plate.
