Camfil-Farr released the MERV 8 30/30 air filter. The MERV 8 filter holds 30 percent more dust than conventional filters, which means longer service life and fewer change-outs, according to the company. The filter media is mechanical instead of electrostatic so it does not lose power as it collects dust, according to the company.
