Student Workstation
The L-shaped Peninsula workstation from Sargent-Welch is designed so four students can use the workstation while facing the teacher. The unit features storage compartments and is made of oak and oak veneers with black powder-coated metal accents. Units with sinks include two combination water-gas fixtures. All units include a pop-up GFI duplex electrical outlet.


Stanley L. Chiu, AIA, LEED AP, joined RTKL Associates Inc., as vice president. Chiu has 18 years of experience, primarily with healthcare and higher-education facility planning. He will work in the firm’s Los Angeles health and science studio and lead activities in the western United States and Asia.
Remco, a California-based recycled aggregate materials company that specializes in eco-friendly landscaping materials, named Dalena Larson director of sales and marketing. Larson is responsible for all aspects of sales and marketing, including the launch of the company’s latest product, GreenRock.
J.R. Clancy of Syracuse, N.Y., a designer and manufacturer of theatrical stage equipment, promoted Eric McAfee to domestic sales manager. McAfee has spent 11 years with J.R. Clancy. He previously served as a rigging installer with BMI Supply.
Julie Barrett was hired as business development director at the Long Beach office of Heery International. Barrett brings more than 22 years of combined architecture, construction and engineering experience to Heery, a design and construction management firm.
Da-Lite Screen Co., a Warsaw, Ind.-based producer of projection screens and systems, announced the promotion of Rachael Conley to the newly created position of director of social media. She will lead marketing efforts on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
