Middle School Gears Up for Renovations

CLINTON, Miss. — Renovation work at Summer Hill Junior High School will begin in January, Clinton District Officials announced today. The $2.7 million project is slated for completion by September 2011.
 
The district’s $23.5 million bond issue will fund $400,000 of the project while a Qualified School Construction bond offered through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act will cover the rest of the project costs.
 
The district hired Sumrall-based C. Perry Construction Co.
