Intercom System
Aiphone Corporation, a manufacturer of intercom and entry security products, recently reintroduced its AN-8000 Series IP Network Intercom System. The series employs packet audio technology, linking up to 80 IP intercom exchanges, multi-interface units and IP stations to a local or wide area network. It has a capacity of up to 1280 stations, allowing customers to have many advanced functions, according to the company. The AN-8000 Series also functions with external PA equipment and door stations to provide further specialized safety features. External PA equipment can be integrated to allow for AN Series stations to perform paging to any pre-determined locations.
