ST. LOUIS — Missouri cancer patients who need bone marrow transplants now have the satisfaction of sleeping in their own beds at night as opposed to staying in a hospital during treatment.
SACRAMENTO, Calif. — California voters passed Proposition 39 back in November and now the new law is set to go in effect at the beginning of 2013, which will bring in up to $550 million annually for efficiency and clean energy school construction projects.
LOMA LINDA, Calif. — The implementation of an $800 million, 10-year capital improvement program at Loma Linda University Medical Center in California kicked off in October with the groundbreaking for a $17.1 million parking structure.
The seven-level garage is the first phase of the improvement plan, which will help the medical center “maintain seismic compliance with the state of California per Senate Bill 1953 and all associated subsequent [bills],” said Robert Cole, owner’s construction superintendent at Loma Linda University.
KENT, Ohio — There is big news for Kent State University (KSU), as the university’s board of trustees recently approved $150 million in campus construction projects at the Kent-based university.
