Colorado State University celebrated the grand opening of the Suzanne and Walter Scott, Jr. Bioengineering Building, bringing together various disciplines of biomedical engineering in a high-tech, energy conscious facility.
INDIANAPOLIS — The Council of Educational Facility Planners International (CEFPI) held its annual conference and exposition this year in Indianapolis. The theme of the event, which took place Sept. 20-23, was “Raising the Game — A call for Leadership, Creativity and Passion.”

VideoIQ has added its new R-Series to its line of product offerings. The R-Series is a 1U rack-mount analytics appliance that analyzes and records up to 16 security cameras per unit. The product is available in IP, analog or hybrid-base models and supports standard analog (PAL or NTSC) cameras or IP cameras utilizing h.264 video streamed across RTSP. In addition, the R-Series includes two user-replaceable hard drives. The user can also specify the amount of storage to be allocated to each camera in the R-Series device.
David S. Crawford, president and CEO of Tempe, Ariz.-headquartered Sundt Construction Inc., was recently recognized for his 45 years of service to the company. Crawford began his career with the company as a concrete laborer in 1968.
