Hamilton College Arts Building Prepares for Debut
CLINTON, N.Y. — The new 81,000-square-foot Kevin and Karen Kennedy Center for Theatre and the Studio Arts at Hamilton College in Clinton will open later this summer, with an official dedication scheduled for Oct. 10.


NEW YORK — Nearly one in three New York City public schools experienced overcrowding during the 2012 school year, an issue neither documented nor tracked by the city’s Department of Education, according to an audit released by city Comptroller Scott M. Stringer.
J.K. Yates has become the first woman to head a college or university construction management department in the U.S., working at Western Carolina University. Yates has been named the Joe W. Kimmel Distinguished Professor of Construction Management at Western Carolina University, prior to which she served as chair and professor in the department of construction management and engineering at North Dakota State University.
