Thomas (TJ) Chasty

Hobbs+Black Architects has announced the promotion of Thomas (TJ) Chasty to vice president of its Phoenix office. Chasty first joined Hobbs+Black in 2004 and worked in the firm’s Ann Arbor, Mich., office for seven years before volunteering to move to Arizona to help launch Hobbs+Black’s Phoenix office in 2011. Since being promoted to associate vice president in 2014, Chasty has been the project manager or project architect on a variety of projects, large and small, and successfully supervised project teams and consultants. He was an instrumental component of the Tucson Medical Center (TMC) Orthopedic and Surgical Tower. Currently, he is the project manager for the Phoenix Children’s Hospital (PCH) ED/Lab Expansion, Sante at Westgate and TMC Women’s Center Addition. Hobbs+Black also focuses heavily on educational projects.
