Ijeoma D. Iheanacho
Ijeoma D. Iheanacho, LEED AP, has joined the prominent New York City architecture, design and planning firm of Urbahn Architects as senior project designer. Iheanacho’s responsibilities include managing design activities; supervising project teams; interacting with clients; coordinating engineering, legal and zoning consultants; and administering construction activities. Prior to joining Urbahn, Iheanacho worked in design positions at BFB Architect, Dattner Architects and William Nicholas Boudova + Associates. She received a bachelor’s degree from Cornell University College of Art, Architecture and Planning in 2001. Iheanacho grew up in Texas, in an Ibo tribe family, which immigrated to the United States from Imo state in Nigeria. Urbahn’s educational project portfolio includes the Lehman College School of Nursing and Columbia University Baker Field Facilities Master Plan — both of which are located in New York.
