Erik Rappel

Norco Construction, a construction, design and building firm based in Manhasset, N.Y., recently promoted Erik Rappel to chief operating officer from his previous role as vice president of operations. As COO, Rappel will ensure the firm’s business and operation growth and keep an executive-level oversight of construction practices. Rappel will also develop long-term expansion plans for Norco. 

Rappel joined Norco as senior project manager in 2017, bringing more than 30 years of construction experience to the role. He has contributed to more than 3 million square feet of completed projects, such as the Stuyvesant High School theater in New York and a new 10-acre York Studios film and television production studio campus, including a 175,000-square-foot building in the Bronx, NY. 

“Erik’s technical and project management expertise has immensely benefitted Norco’s clients throughout the East Coast over the past eight years,” said Norco President and CEO Norman O.
