Finishes are available to match or contrast with the company’s curtainwall framing.

It features formaldehyde-free batt insulation, high-recycled content metal framing and wall coverings, agrifiber composite-paneled casework, acoustic ceiling tiles with 25 percent recycled content, and a daylight control sensor.
ZAP’s new electric scooter, the ZAPPY3, is equipped with a 36-volt motor, folding handlebars and goes up to 12.5 mph. The scooter features three-wheel stability and allows users to stand facing forward. The new model charges using a standard outlet in four to six hours and can run for up to 24 miles when fully charged, according to the company. While driving at slow speeds, the handlebars rotate almost 180 degrees to allow for easy maneuvering.
Moen Inc. announced the release of the FreeHand sensor-operated flush valve. The valve provides energy savings by using an infrared sensor to activate the flush cycle, which ensures efficient water use, according to the company. The sensor uses standard AA batteries or an AC adapter. Features include a 24-hour sentinel flush, self-cleaning filter system, operating pressures ranging from 10 to 120 PSI, manual override button and self-lubricating silicone seals.
Component Hardware Group uses Saniguard’s antimicrobial technology for its 64-ounce ice scoop. The scoop can be used with ice or on dry goods. It is lined with antimicrobial technology that inhibits the growth of bacteria, mold and mildew. There is also a molded hand guard to prevent accidental hand contact and to help eliminate cross-contamination. The antimicrobial treatment involves a silver ion-based layer and will last through the expected life of the product.
A line of environmentally friendly generators created by Cummins Power Generation Inc. is now available. The generators passed the Environmental Protection Agency’s Tier 4 emissions regulations rated at 10 kW, 15 kW, 20 kW and 25 kW. The generators come with a weather-protective or sound muffling, steel or aluminum enclosure. The product also features the PowerCommand 1.1 electronic control. The control is completely integrated with the system and includes features such as automatic remote start and stop.
Nixalite’s bird control strips are rows of spikes designed to keep birds and their droppings from facility signage, rooftops and ledges. Made from 316 stainless steel wire and strip, the physical barrier prevents birds from landing, nesting or roosting on all types of surfaces.
With up to 120 points per foot, the spikes can provide gap-free protection. A flexible base strip can be cut into custom lengths during installation and contoured with curved surfaces. The product features a mounting system that allows for removal and reinstallation.
The new RS 501 compact outdoor sweeper from Nilfisk is an all-season wet/dry sweeper with the power for outdoor maintenance. Its top-draw vacuum design can pick up sand, leaves, liter-sized beverage containers and other litter. Rear steering enables the machine to maneuver close to obstacles, including curbs and buildings.
The vacuum comes standard with a three-stage water curtain dust suppression system for dust control in open areas. Optional features include a pressure washer with 3,000 psi capabilities, a self-retracting 25-foot hose and a 10-foot rear vacuum hose.
