College Prepares for Summer of Construction

BOSTON-Several construction projects will be under way at Boston College this summer. The first phase of renovations to the Conte Forum has already begun. The plans call for reconstruction of the old football locker room to accommodate five women’s athletic teams. The administrative areas will also be renovated and new offices will be added for the women’s basketball team and six Olympic sports. The first phase should be complete by the end of summer and the second phase will begin in spring 2006.

Other projects include maintenance and improvements to two parking garages and upgrades to technology in 11 different academic buildings.
