TUCSON, AZ (KOLD) – Work on the Hohokam Middle school bike and walking path will begin March 15. Crews will begin paving the north shoulder of Tetakusim Road from Sorrel Lane to camino de Oeste.

CHESAPEAKE Firefighters have determined that a suspicious item found outside Western Branch High School this afternoon is safe. The school was on lock-down for about two hours after the item was found near a construction area outside the school, said Capt. Simone Gulisano, fire department spokesman. The lock-down was lifted just before 3:30.

The Fairfield school board will be informing community members about the proposed high school construction and renovation project and the geothermal air handling systems at the other schools during special meetings set Monday and March 29.

KIHEI – The proposed 1,600-student Kihei high school has taken another crucial step this week in its winding hike toward construction.

Journal Register News Service PHOENIXVILLE — Construction of the new Phoenixville Area Middle School is scheduled to begin on the last day of the current school year.

The School Board adopted a resolution in support of moving forward with engineering studies on four possible options for new school construction in the north Ashburn area Tuesday night, after listening to the concerns of more than two dozen members of the public.
