Columbia University Receives First LEED-ND Certification in New York
NEW YORK — Columbia University in New York City is making a green statement with its Manhattanville campus, as it currently earned LEED Platinum in the Neighborhood Development (ND) category of the U.S. Green Building Council’s LEED rating system.


Bill Pearson, now the senior project manager, recently joined general contractor and construction manager Charles Perry Partners Inc. A 17-year construction veteran, Pearson has managed several projects including K-12 schools and university and health care buildings throughout Florida, as well as Alabama, Georgia, South Carolina and Texas. He formerly served as project manager for Trinity Fabricators since 2007 and was previously the vice president of M.M.
