CMU Celebrates Bioscience Building Groundbreaking

University of Louisville Debuts Collegiate Soccer Stadium
LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The men’s and women’s soccer teams played their first game in the newly constructed Dr. Mark and Cindy Lynn Stadium (or simply Lynn Stadium) on Aug. 29 in Louisville. The stadium is the largest collegiate soccer venue in the country, and it took about 15 months to complete.
Pennsylvania Legislators Urge Voters to Pass School Construction Bill
HARRISBURG, Pa. — Pennsylvania legislators continue to fight for a better way to reimburse school construction costs in the state. Rep. Seth Grove of York recently sponsored House Bill 2124, which would help update the PlanCon (or Planning and Construction Workbook) process to be more efficient for schools.
New School Will Reflect Navajo Culture
NASCHITTI, N.M. — The new Naschitti Elementary School near Ship Rock, N.M. is on track for a January 2015 opening, making this semester the last Naschitti students will spend in the school’s original building.
Amale Andraos
Amale Andraos has been named the new dean of the Graduate School of Architect, Preservation and Planning at Columbia University in New York, where she has been a faculty member for the past three years. Andraos has also taught at Harvard, the University of Pennsylvania and American University in her native Beirut.
