South Boston Boys & Girls Club Debuts Renovated Learning Spaces
BOSTON — Last fall, Boys & Girls Clubs of Boston and the South Boston community celebrated the re-opening of the Edgerley Family South Boston Club after a complete gut renovation of the original 1940s structure.


Architecture firm ZGF recently named Tim Williams a partner. Williams, who recently relocated from ZGF’s Seattle office to the firm’s Washington, D.C., office, plays an instrumental role in the development of landmark projects for cities, universities and corporations across the country. A common thread in his work is successfully managing the design of complex and flexible facilities that advance innovation, collaboration, historic restoration and sustainability.
Lockwood, Andrews & Newnam Inc., a planning, engineering and program management firm, has promoted J.P. Grom to the position of vice president. Grom has been with the firm since 2000, providing program management solutions to the educational marketplace and a variety of school districts in both rural and urban settings. A registered architect, Grom’s expertise includes master planning, facility assessments, design, construction administration and warranty periods.
