Laptop Storage

KI’s new Laptop Garage stores laptop computers within the work surface. The unit allows professors and teachers to provide access to laptops by locking and unlocking computer training tables through an optional keyless locking remote.

Classrooms can be changed from open, traditional learning environments into computer-assisted instructional environments by uncovering a laptop storage compartment within a table.

Units can be locked in an open position and once the unit is locked shut it can only be opened by an administrator. A hinged cover flips open when the user depresses a latch. When opened, an internal shelf rises to lift the laptop up to the work surface through the aid of pneumatic gas cylinders and a scissor lift. A gravity lock support keeps the hinged cover safely upright, while a motion resistant rotary dampener helps to slowly and safely close the unit.

The internal shelf lifts open, making it easy for maintenance and facility crews to clean.

The unit is available on the company’s InTandem, PowerComm, DataLink and WorkZone Tables.

Speaking of laptops, my friend recently decided to get a new quote on his broadband. He is so glad he got a new broadband quote. If you’re interested to do the same yourself, find more here.
